Online Seminar on Health Hints on the Use of Computer for Information and Communications Industry

***Participants can be awarded 1.5 hours statement of attendance and 1.5 CPD units under relevant accreditation services of the Hong Kong Safety and Health Certification Scheme***

Many employees have to work on the computer. For those using improper posture for prolonged periods or sitting at a workstation that is not properly designed, they may encounter health problems such as upper limb pains and discomfort, back discomfort , eyestrain, etc. Bad posture and lack of physical activity while working from home may lead to neck pain and shoulder tension.

Hence, the Information and Communications Safety and Health Committee organizes an online seminar on “Health Hints on the Use of Computer ” on 3 February 2021 (Wednesday). Nursing Officer from the Labour Department will introduce health hazards and preventive measures associated with prolonged use of computers, while consultant from the Council will introduce health tips for working from home.

Enrolment will be closed on 30 Jan 2021 (Saturday). You are welcome to participate. Applicants must provide ID no. Individual email address used for enrolment should be the same as the email address used to login to your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account is one of the attendance requirements. Confirmation email with login link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
