Excessive and continuous stress at work can lower productivity, posing a threat to both physical and mental health of employees or even affect the harmony of a family.
To help both employers and employees to understand occupational stress, the Council’s Catering and Hospitality Services Safety & Health Committee and Health Care Services Safety & Health Committee will hold an online seminar, at which the Nursing Officer (Health Promotion) from the Labour Department will introduce the symptoms and health impacts of occupational stress, and elaborate on the stress coping strategies. Meanwhile, consultant from the Council will introduce “Joyful@Healthy Workplace Programme” and “Mental Health Workplace Charter”.
