Online Open Seminar on Guidance Notes on Standing at Work and Prevention of Lower Limb Disorders

Many employees often work in a standing position, who are more likely to have muscle ache and fatigue, and pressure on the legs. Continuous pressure at legs is associated with various kinds of lower limb disorders like varicose vein and plantar fasciitis, etc. To enhance the awareness on the occupational health risk of standing at work, Occupational Safety & Health Council will hold an online seminar on 26 October 2020, at which representatives of Labour Department will address the related information, including “Guidance Note on Standing at Work and Service Counter Design” and provide practical preventive measures to employers and employees on reducing the health risks of standing work. All are welcome.

Applicants must provide ID no. for getting the statement of attendance. Individual email address used for enrolment should be same as the email address used to login your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
