Online Open Seminar on Weather and Working Outdoors
Employees in different industries are required to work outdoors, such as transportation industry, construction industry, cleaning services industry, property management industry, etc. Employers should consider the potential impact of different weather situations (including hot temperatures, strong wind, thunderstorm, etc.), while arranging tasks for their employees. Employees should stay tuned to the adverse weather conditions and adopt suitable protective measures when working outdoors. The Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online seminar on 19 July 2022, at which the representative of the Hong Kong Observatory will introduce science concepts of weather, common natural disasters in Hong Kong and related control measures, etc. All are welcome.
Applicants must provide ID no. for getting the statement of attendance. Individual email address used for enrolment should be same as the email address used to login your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
