Online Seminar on “Work and Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases” for Manufacturing Industry
Cardiovascular diseases and cerebrovascular diseases (CCVD) are common causes of death in Hong Kong. CCVD deaths during working hours have increased in recent years. OSHC’s Manufacturing Industry Safety & Health Committee will hold an online seminar on 13 January 2023, at which the occupational health nurse of the Labour Department will introduce healthy lifestyles and provide tips on protecting “heart” and “brain” in the workplace, so as to increase the awareness of employers and employees on CCVD. Furthermore, the Council’s Consultant will briefly introduce relevant occupational health promotional programmes, which encourage employers and employees to work hand-in-hand to promote employees’ health and to enhance organisation’s productivity.
Target audience: People engaging in manufacturing industry / People from all walks of life
