PEWP are widely used for work-at-height activities, such as RMAA (Renovation, Maintenance, Alteration and Addition) works and exterior wall cleaning, improper operation of machinery may lead to serious accidents. To enhance the awareness of employees on safety operations for PEWP, the Council’s Construction Industry and Electrical & Mechanical Trade and Machinery Services Safety and Health Committee will launch an online seminar on 6 September 2023 (Wednesday), at which representative from Labour Department will address the operation safety of PEWP; representative from the Council will introduce Telescopic Scaffold Tower Sponsorship Scheme for SMEs. Enrolment will be closed on 1 September 2023 (Friday). All are welcome.
Applicants must provide ID no. for getting the statement of attendance. Individual email address used for enrolment should be same as the email address used to login your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
