Online Open Seminar on Prevention of Heat Stroke at Work under Hot Environment and the Related Legislative Requirement
CPD unit under Hong Kong Safety and Health Certification Scheme: 1.5
Climate change causes extreme weather to be more frequent. The number of hot nights (days with a minimum temperature of 28°C or above) and very hot days (days with a maximum temperature of 33°C or above) as well as heavy rainfall events have been increasing in recent years. Employers should consider the impact under different weather situations while drawing up the work arrangements for their staff. Those who need to work outdoor or at a hot environment are likely to suffer from heat stroke. Occupational Safety & Health Council will hold an online seminar on 20 May 2025, at which the Occupational Health Nurse and Occupational Safety Officer from the Labour Department will explain the control measures of preventing heat stroke at work under hot environment and outline the related legislative requirement respectively.
Enrollment will be closed on 16 May 2025. You are welcome to attend.
Applicants must provide email address for getting the statement of attendance. Individual email address used for enrolment should be same as the email address used to login your Zoom account.
