Online Seminar on Lifting and Excavating Safety

Machines are widely used in the construction industry to assist in lifting and excavation work and to enhance the productivity. However, improper operation of these machines might lead to serious accidents. To strengthen the industry’s safety awareness on using lifting and excavating machines, the Council will hold an "Online Seminar on Lifting and Excavating Safety" with the Labour Department on 15 May 2025 (Thursday). Experts from the Government and industry will analyze accident cases, aiming to enhance safety awareness through best practice sharing.
Enrollment will be closed on 12 May 2025 (Monday).
Target audience: Practitioners from the construction industry and individuals interested in the topic.
Applicants must provide an email address for getting the statement of attendance. The individual email address used for enrolment should be the same as the email address used to login to your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with the online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
