Online Open Seminar on Prevention of Lower Limb Disorders and Guidance Notes on Standing at Work

Many employees often work in a standing position, who are more likely to have muscle ache and fatigue, and pressure on the legs. Continuous pressure at legs is associated with various kinds of lower limb disorders like varicose vein and plantar fasciitis, etc. To enhance the awareness on the occupational health risk of standing at work, Occupational Safety & Health Council will hold an online seminar on 21 October 2025, at which representatives of Labour Department will address the related information, including “Guidance Note on Standing at Work and Service Counter Design” and provide practical preventive measures to employers and employees on reducing the health risks of standing work. All are welcome.

Enrolment will be closed on Friday, 17 October, 2025. All are welcome.

Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
