Online Seminar on the Safety of Power-operated Elevating Work Platforms (PEWPs) and Work at Height

Powered Elevating Work Platforms (PEWP) are often used when conducting work-at-height activities, such as construction and RMAA (Renovation, Maintenance, Alteration and Addition) works. Improper use of PEWP may result in serious or even fatal accidents, such as workers' bodies being trapped between the lifting platforms and other ceiling fixtures, collapsing of lifting platforms, or workers falling from heights. The Council will hold an "Online Seminar on Safety of Powered Elevating Work Platforms (PEWP) and Work at Height" with the Labour Department on 12 November 2025 (Wednesday). Experts from the Government and industry will analyze accident cases, aiming to enhance safety awareness through best practice sharing.
Enrollment will be closed on 7 November 2025 (Friday).
Target audience: Practitioners from the construction, RMAA, property management companies and individuals interested in the topic.

Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with the online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
