Online Open Seminar on Safety for Marine Industry and Coastal Land-based Construction Work
CPD unit under Hong Kong Safety and Health Certification Scheme: 1.5
Marine Department is responsible to ensure vessels in Hong Kong waters that under repair, being broken up, cargo handling or marine construction works, comply with the safety requirements as stipulated by law. Labour Department regulates the safety of land-based construction works that carried out on, adjacent to or over water, in order to reduce safety risks posed to the construction workers. To enhance the safety awareness of the industries regarding marine and coastal land-based construction work, Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online seminar on 10 February 2026, at which the representative of Marine Department and Labour Department will address the related safety regulations and analyse related accident cases.
Enrolment will be closed on Friday, 6 February 2026. All are welcome.
