Online Open Seminar on Safety at Road Works (Cancelled)

To ensure the safety of road workers and to minimize the traffic impact caused by the works, the person responsible have to carefully plan the arrangements for setting up, maintaining and removal of lighting, signing and guarding, and protective measures to provide adequate working time and space to minimize the risk of the works area being hit by oncoming or passing vehicles. The Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSHC) will organize an online seminar on 10 March 2026. Representative of the Highways Department will explain the “Code of Practice for the Lighting, Signing and Guarding of Road Works” and relevant road works safety requirements, with a view to enhancing the work safety of the industry.
Enrolment will be closed on Friday, 6 February 2026. All are welcome.

Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
