Online Open Seminar on Prevention of Heat Stroke and Heat Stress Assessment for Outdoor Work in Very Hot Weather

The number of very hot days (days with a maximum temperature of 33°C or above) have been increasing in recent years. Those who need to work outdoors or in a hot environment are likely to have a higher risk of suffering from heat stroke due to factors of high temperature, etc. Employers should consider the potential impact of hot weather situations while arranging tasks for their employees and adopt suitable control measures. Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online open seminar on 5 May 2026, at which the Occupational Health Nurse and Occupational Hygienist will introduce the heat stress assessment, address the health hazards at work under hot environment and the control measures of preventing heat stroke at work under hot environment.
Enrolment will be closed on Thursday, 30 April 2026. All are welcome.
