CPD unit under Hong Kong Safety and Health Certification Scheme: 1.25
Registered safety officers play an important role in ensuring safety and health of persons employed in industrial undertakings. They have a continuing duty to provide services with a high standard of conduct and integrity. The Labour Department has published a new edition (4th edition) of the “Guidance Notes on Continuing Professional Development Programmes under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors) Regulations”. This edition has been amended to include adding professional ethics and integrity of safety officers as a compulsory CPD Programme. The Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online open seminar on 7 July 2026, at which the representative of ICAC will explain the detailed requirements of the relevant code of practice.
Enrolment will be closed on Friday, 3 July 2026. All are welcome.
