Air-conditioning installation and maintenance may seem like a routine task, but the safety details are vital to the life and safety of every worker. Serious accidents may occur without suitable safe working platforms or fall arresting systems, or when handling hazardous refrigerants without implementing appropriate safety measures. To enhance safety awareness in air-conditioning repair & maintenance works and handling hazardous refrigerants, the Electrical & Mechanical Trade and Machinery Services Safety & Health Committee organizes an online seminar on “Safety in Air-conditioning Repair & Maintenance Works and Handling Hazardous Refrigerants”. Representative from the Labour Department will share insights on common hazards and safety precautions about air-conditioning repair & maintenance works; while representative from Electrical and Mechanical Services Department will share safety precautions about handling hazardous refrigerants.
Target audience: Practitioners from the Electrical & Mechanical Trade and Machinery Services Industry / practitioners from other related trades
