CPD unit under Hong Kong Safety and Health Certification Scheme: 1.25
Workers in the Logistics and Freight Transport Industry, and Import Export and Wholesale Retail Trade Industry may need to handle and move goods frequently, such as manual handling, packaging, inventory counting, and the receiving and dispatching of goods. If workers perform rapid, repetitive, and forceful movements of the upper limbs for prolonged periods, it can easily lead to musculoskeletal disorders which may affect the daily life.
To prevent upper limb strain among workers and enhance their understanding of this issue, the Logistics and Freight, Import and Export Trade, and Wholesale and Retail Industries Safety and Health Committee under the Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold a webinar on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Representatives from the Labour Department have been invited to explain how to prevent upper limb strain, and OSHC consultant will also share safety tips for operating truck tail lifts.
