Property management and frontline environmental hygiene front-line workers are occasionally required to participate in routine tree maintenance activities, where chainsaws the commonly used and efficient tool. However, if practitioners have not received specialised safety training on use of chainsaw, they often tend to overlook the hazards of operating these tools and the required safety measures.
In view of this, the Property Management, Environmental Hygiene and Recycling Safety and Health Committee under the Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSHC) will organise an online seminar titled "Chainsaw Safety Guide: Identifying Hazards and Preventing Accidents Online Seminar ". The seminar will explore the precautions and safety measures required when using chainsaws for tree trimming works. Individuals from the industry are cordially invited to enrol.
Target audience: Individuals working in the Property Management, Environmental Hygiene and Recycling industry and operators using chainsaws for tree trimming works
Applicants must provide an email address to receive the statement of attendance. The email address used for enrolment should be the same as the email address used to log in to your Zoom account. Logging in and out of the Zoom account at designated times for the seminar is one of the attendance requirements. A confirmation email with the online seminar link will be sent to successful applicants.
