The Start of Autumn has already arrived. As autumn begins, the weather gradually becomes drier, and common respiratory discomforts may include an itchy or dry throat, coughing and nasal allergies. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is associated with the lungs, so it is advisable to focus on nourishing the lungs and alleviating dryness.
In addition, smoking can impair lung function and is a major risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. How can acupuncture and auricular (ear-point) therapy play a supportive role in the smoking cessation process, helping to relieve the discomfort and withdrawal symptoms that often occur during the early stages of quitting smoking?
This online seminar will cover common respiratory symptoms after the beginning of autumn, Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches to lung health during autumn, and acupuncture-based smoking cessation services, including the use of auricular therapy to help alleviate withdrawal symptoms. The seminar is suitable for anyone interested in learning about autumn lung care, as well as those who are ready to take the first step towards quitting smoking.
