Overloading of electric circuits, improper use and storage of flammable substances, poor site housekeeping, or performing welding work without appropriate fire precautions, etc. may result in fire outbreak. Serious fire occurred in construction sites will not only delay the completion date of the project, but may also lead to injuries and deaths. To enhance the knowledge of construction site Electrical Safety and Fire Protection measures in the industry, the Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online open seminar on 27 October 2026, at which the representative of Fire Services Department and Labour Department will address the issues of fire protection in construction site.
Enrolment will be closed on Friday, 23 October 2026. All are welcome.
