CPD unit under Hong Kong Safety and Health Certification Scheme: 1.25
In recent years, a number of fatal accidents have occurred at Public Cargo Working Areas in Hong Kong, including workers being struck by falling object or falling from height, highlighting risks that cannot be ignored.
To enhance the awareness of practitioners about the safety on container and cargo handling, the Council’s Logistics and Freight Transport Industry Safety and Health Committee will launch an online seminar on 29 October 2026 (Thursday). Labour Department representative will be invited to address safety measures, regulations, and related accidents involving container handling operation. Furthermore, OSHC Consultant will share safety tips for fire prevention in Container Handling Operations. Enrollment will be closed on 26 October 2026 (Monday). All are welcome.
