Improper execution or inadequate safety measures during electrical work can lead to serious electrical accidents. Besides, the one-year grace period for the newly published Code of Practice for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations is set to expire on 31 December 2026. To enhance the industry's awareness of electrical work safety and help the industry transition smoothly to the regulations, the Electrical & Mechanical Trade and Machinery Services Safety & Health Committee organizes an online seminar on “Electrical Work Safety and Introduction of the Code of Practice for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations”. A representative from the Labour Department will share insights on common hazards and safety precautions in electrical work; while a representative from Electrical and Mechanical Services Department will introduce the key amendments of the Code of Practice for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations.
Enrollment will be closed on 9 November 2026 (Monday).
Target audience: Practitioners from the Electrical & Mechanical Trade and Machinery Services Industry / practitioners from other related trades
