The "Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Management) Regulation" has been fully implemented. Proprietor and contractor involved in industrial operations are required to implement a safety management system that includes all 14 elements and must regularly conduct safety audits of their safety management system. The "Safety Management Code of Practice" provides practical guidance for proprietor and contractor in related industrial operations. The Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an Online Open Seminar on 24 November 2026, inviting representative from the Labour Department to explain the "Safety Management Code of Practice" and related occupational safety and health legislation.
Enrolment will be closed on Friday, 20 November 2026. All are welcome.
