Online Open Seminar on Manual Handling Operations and Prevention of Back Injuries

Manual handling operation takes place daily in many industries, such as lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and carrying a load. Incorrect handling postures may cause back strain and injuries, threatening personal health. To enhance the knowledge of employees on manual handling operations and prevention of back injuries, Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online seminar on 23 September 2020, at which the representatives from Labour Department will address the proper way of manual handling operation, the causes and preventive measures of back injuries. All are welcome.

Applicants must provide ID no. for getting the statement of attendance. Individual email address used for enrolment should be same as the email address used to login your Zoom account. Login and logout time of your Zoom account for the seminar is one of attendance requirements. Confirmation email with online seminar link and details will be sent to successful applicants.
